Here's the latest on sectionals:
Captains meeting will be at 8:20am on Parents Field. Games start at 9AM. Food and water will
be available at both fields.
FIELDS-
Pool A - Linde Field (condors, faded, boner, claremont, oxy)
Pool B - Parents Field (pbr, monster, ant, ucla, usd)

Alex and I are going to try to convince the TD to let us play at Parents so more people will come to see us. So if that happens a lot of this stuff might change. People playing should be at Parents(or wherever we decide on) by 8:15AM |

In case you haven't heard already, Claremont is hosting club sectionals
this weekend! Hopefully we'll take advantage of this to get a big fan
presence out to our games. I'll fill everyone in on more of the details
once I have a better picture of what's going on.

First, a couple of announcements for those of you who missed practice or were late.
From now going forward, we’re going to start the warmup lap at 4:20. If you have class before practice, that still gives you 20 minutes to get to the field and cleat up, which is more than enough time. If you’re late, it’s not a huge deal, but we can’t wait that long to start practice.
Those of you who came out on Saturday night and saw Joaq and Peaches trying handstand thumbers know that the party was a success. Minor problem is that Icecock and I are out around $50 each, I think a little more for Icecock. Those of you that did chip in, it’s appreciated. Now Icecock and I aren’t about to go around breaking kneecaps to collect, but at the same time, being in the hole that much doesn’t really get either one of us excited about throwing another party real soon. So, if anyone feels like easing our pain with a couple of bucks, great; and we’ll probly try to collect $ in advance in the future.
Now on to matters of the upcoming weekend.
The roster that I have for club sectionals as of right now is as follows:
Alex, Skippy, Icecock, Sambone, Joaq, Peaches, Wonderboy, Dorsal, Fry, Jughead, Stout, Gordy, Mike Prude, Paul Fields, and Weston
We’ll be driving down to San Diego early Saturday morning. I’m almost positive we’ll be driving back up that evening, and there’s a decent chance we won’t be down there for Sunday. I’ll send you all more information when I get it; which will hopefully be before Friday night, but with our TD, I’m really not sure. We’re tentatively playing Condors, ANT, a team from SLO, and Oxy.
We still need DRIVERS! We need 4 cars and right now we’ve got 2 maybe 3. Anyone who can drive, even if you’re not playing, it’ll be much appreciated, and you can get reimbursed for gas. Email me if you think you might be able to drive. Speaking of people that aren’t playing, everyone is still encouraged to come down to the tourney. Right now we might not have much space, but email me, and I’ll make sure you’ve got a seat if we do get enough cars. Anyone that comes is guaranteed to have a good time, maybe even moreso than those playing.
